How to Launch Our Demo Software
Demo files are provided in a compressed WinZip format. If you have WinZip installed on your computer, WinZip will automatically load after the file has been downloaded.
If you do not have a copy of WinZip installed on your computer, click the graphic below to download a shareware copy of WinZip.
Installing WinZip is very easy. Simply double-click on the WinZip executable file and WinZip will automatically be installed into the C:\Program Files\WinZip directory.
Installing QuicTrac School District Calendar
After you have downloaded the School District Year-Round Calendar program, simply double-click the file named 'QTCalendar'. QuicTrac Calendar will automatically unzip to your C drive and will be placed in a folder named 'QuicTrac'. Your final step will be to open Windows Explorer, locate the QuicTrac folder on your C drive and double-click 'QTCalendar.xls' in your QuicTrac folder. A fully functioning version of QuicTrac Calendar will load automatically.
Installing QuicTrac Enrollment or Private Training Institute Class Calendar
When you double-click on "ClassCalendar.zip" or "QTrac1.zip", the WinZip utility will automatically be launched. At the WinZip main toolbar menu, highlight ALL the files in the listing (three files for the Calendar program; six files for the Enrollment program). You highlight files by holding down either the Shift Key or the Control Key and dragging your mouse across all files.
Next, change your "Extract To" Directory to read simply "C:". WinZip will create the correct directory structure with the QuicTrac files in the correct locations under the "QuicTrac" directory on your "C" Drive. When the zip file has been extracted, open up Windows Explorer and click 'View/Refresh'. This will show you the update C Drive directory structure with the QuicTrac Directory included.
Click on program file (e.g. QTCalendar1.xls) in your C:\QuicTrac directory. Quictrac will automatically load in Microsoft Excel and install a QuicTrac program group for you.
